Payments and Cash-on-Delivery Policy

3.1Currency

Prices on helova.co are primarily displayed and charged in Iraqi Dinars, IQD.

Where another currency is displayed, the final currency and amount shown during checkout will apply.

Customers are responsible for any currency-conversion or international transaction fee charged by their bank or payment provider.

3.2Available Payment Methods

Payment methods may include:

  • cash on delivery
  • debit or credit card
  • supported Iraqi digital wallets
  • Wayl checkout; and
  • other methods displayed during checkout.

Only the payment methods shown during checkout are available for that order.

3.3Online Payments

Online payments may be processed through Wayl or another authorised payment provider.

Helova does not intentionally collect or store:

  • full payment-card numbers
  • card security codes
  • online-banking passwords
  • digital-wallet passwords; or
  • one-time payment passwords.

Sensitive payment information is entered directly through the payment provider’s secure checkout environment.

An order is not considered paid until Helova receives successful payment confirmation.

3.4Pending Payments

A transaction may remain pending while the payment provider verifies it.

Customers should avoid repeatedly submitting the same payment because this may create duplicate authorisations or charges.

Where a customer appears to have been charged but the order is not confirmed, they should contact Helova through the Contact page and provide:

  • order number
  • transaction reference
  • payment date
  • amount
  • payment method; and
  • proof of payment with sensitive information hidden.

Helova will investigate the payment status with the relevant provider.

3.5Failed Payments

A payment may fail because of:

  • insufficient funds
  • incorrect payment information
  • bank restrictions
  • payment-provider security checks
  • expired cards
  • internet interruption
  • unsupported currency
  • transaction limits; or
  • technical problems.

Where payment fails, the customer may try another available payment method.

Helova is not responsible for fees charged by the customer’s bank or payment provider.

3.6Cash on Delivery

Customers selecting cash on delivery must:

  • provide an active telephone number
  • provide a complete delivery address
  • confirm the order when contacted
  • be available during the delivery period; and
  • have the required amount available where the courier cannot provide change.

Helova may require advance payment for:

  • unusually high-value orders
  • customised products
  • remote delivery areas
  • repeated refused deliveries
  • repeated unreachable orders
  • previously unpaid orders; or
  • suspected fraud or misuse.

3.7Payment Security

Customers should never send Helova:

  • full card details
  • card security codes
  • banking passwords
  • digital-wallet passwords; or
  • one-time passwords.

Helova representatives will not request this information by telephone, message, social media, email or another customer-support channel.

3.8Pricing Errors

Helova may correct an obvious pricing, currency or technical error before dispatch.

Where an error affects an order, Helova will contact the customer and offer the choice to:

  • confirm the order at the correct price; or
  • cancel the affected product or order for a full refund.

Helova will not increase the price of an accepted and dispatched order because of a later price change.

3.9Promotions and Discount Codes

Promotional codes:

  • must be used before expiry
  • may apply only to selected products
  • may require a minimum order amount
  • cannot normally be combined with another offer
  • cannot be exchanged for cash
  • cannot normally be added after the order is confirmed; and
  • may be cancelled where obtained or used through fraud, duplication, technical misuse or another unfair method.
